How it works
1. You submit your report
The form asks about your workplace, what happened, and what you would like to see happen. You choose whether to give your name, report confidentially, or report anonymously.
2. You receive your reference and tracking code
Your case reference looks like TUC-2026-X7K9P2. Your tracking code is a separate private code shown only once. You need both to open your case. The reference alone never opens a case.
3. Central intake review
Every new complaint goes into one central intake queue at TUC Ghana. Reports mentioning immediate danger or fear of retaliation are flagged for prompt human review. Nothing is shared with a union or an employer automatically.
4. Assignment to a case officer
A supervisor assigns the case to a case officer. Only the assigned officer, their supervisor, and anyone explicitly granted access can see the case.
5. Working the case
Your case officer may ask you questions through the secure message thread on your tracking page. You can reply and add information at any time.
6. Outcome and closure
The case moves through statuses until it is resolved or closed, with the reason recorded. 'Resolved' records how the case ended at TUC Ghana. It is not a finding that an allegation was proven.
Response times
No response-time commitment is published on this portal. Authorised TUC staff can configure targets once the organisation has agreed them.
